Obituary of Nancy A. Jennings

Middletown, NY

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nancy A. Jennings, beloved wife, mother, and Nana, who peacefully passed away at home on March 22, 2025, at the age of 62, after a long battle with cancer. Nancy was born on July 19, 1962, in Middletown, NY, and she leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and cherished memories.

Nancy’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her three children, whom she loved deeply and raised with endless devotion. She found immense happiness in the simple pleasures of life- whether it was attending concerts, hiking in nature, or embarking on road trips with her family. Nancy’s soul was happiest in the fresh air, listening to music and sharing peaceful moments with loved ones.

Nancy was also a proud nana to her beloved grandson, who was truly the light of her life. She adored him with all of her heart, and their bond was one of pure, unconditional love.

Nancy and her husband found joy in their shared love of travel, especially their trips to Vermont, where they enjoyed the beautiful scenery and tranquil moments together. Their adventures took them to many other destinations, each one adding another treasured memory to their lives.

Nancy’s work ethic was unwavering. She worked at First Student while her children were in school and worked at the Harvest Inn until her retirement, where she built meaningful relationships with colleagues and customers alike.

Nancy’s passing leaves a hole in the hearts of all who knew her, but her spirit will continue to live on in her family and friends. She touched the lives of many with her kindness, warmth, and love for life.
