Obituary of Lesley Amerson

Greenwood Lake, NY - Formerly of Nanuet, NY

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lesley Amerson, born Lesley Beresheim, who departed this world at home surrounded by family on Friday, March 28th at the age of 75. 

Lesley was born on Friday June 3rd, 1949 in Nyack NY to Edward and Patricia Beresheim. She grew up in Nanuet and then enjoyed life in Florence Italy for 7 years before returning to Rockland County. Lesley worked as a Supervisor for the State of New York in Tau Cottage located in Stony Point NY and then in Spring Valley at 8 S. Madison. She retired in 2011 after 25 years of service with HVDDSO. She was a loving Mother, Cousin, boss and a truly wonderful friend to many who will be deeply missed. 

Lesley is survived by her daughter Rémi Amerson of NY, her cousin and best friend Annyce and Eric Andresen of FL, cousins John and Susan & Dean and Joy Ferrogari and families also of NY.

Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at the Zygmunt-Murtie Funeral Home, 4 Oak Street, Greenwood Lake, NY 10925.
