Joshua Bell, a life long area resident, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 11, 2015 at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital- Newburgh Campus. He was 30 years old. The son of Harold and Janette Dermedy Bell, Josh was born on August 31, 1985 in Newburgh.
Josh was an avid car enthusiast and put his passion to work during his career as a mechanic and his job at Orange County Transmissions in Washingtonville. Known as the “wheelie king” when not on 4 wheels, Josh loved all things Honda and was proud to display his Civic at many area car shows and functions.
In addition to his parents, Josh leaves behind to live his legacy his beloved wife Jerica (Hinkson) Bell, sisters- Rebecca Miro and Paula Bell, brothers- Ronald and Donovan Bell, Mother-In-Law Teresa Hinkson, Father-In-Law Christopher Hinkson as well as his Sisters-In-Law: Jennifer and Jacqueline Hinkson. Josh also leaves behind his 4-legged friend and “baby girl” Lucy.
Josh was pre-deceased by his brother James Bell in 2009.
Visitation will be held on Friday December 18, 2015 from 5 to 8pm at the White & Venuto Funeral Home Inc, 188 N. Plank Road, Newburgh, NY 12550. Interment of ashes will take place on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 11:00AM in the family plot at Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor, NY.
