Obituary of Virginia Justus

Virginia Justus, March 26, 1931 – March 22, 2016 Briscoe, NY Virginia Justus, a longtime resident of Briscoe, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, March 22, 2016. The daughter of the late John and Margaret Latham Griffin, Virginia was born on March 26, 1931 in Queens. After over 65 years of marriage, Virginia is survived by her beloved husband, Edward, at home; sons: Edward and his wife, Fran, of Jeffersonville, Robert and his wife, Lisa, of Wurtsboro, and Richard, also of Jeffersonville. Virginia leaves behind a legacy of love, to be carried on by her five grandchildren: Christopher, Jennifer, Diana, Kathryn, and Reese. The Justus family wishes to extend their thanks and appreciation to the Catskill Regional Medical Center Oncology Unit, as well as the staff of Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties. A Celebration of Virginia’s life will take place at a later date.
