Henry was a dear friend and sidekick to my late Father, Paul.
The two of them could be found fishing in the Long Island Sound where they would rent a row boat and attach dad's outboard motor. They also would travel out to Long Island to Port of Egypt. Also would adventure out at night to go crabbing.
As kids we would visit the family at their home in the Bronx and later in Eastchester
Henry would stop by the family Hardware Store on White Plains Rd.
When the store was completed, I remember Henry wrote out all the labels that would be attached to the numerous Drawers and Repurposed wooden boxes that would be home to a wide array of merchandise. This was the way it was in the original store and machine shop on 3rd Ave in NYC.
Paulie, Marymount, Tommy and Curt would visit us with their mom, Fran.
Many 4th of July BBQ'S in Pelham.
R.I.P. Henry. Hope you've reconnected with our dad and mom.
