Obituary of Michael J. Haas

Greeley, PA

Michael J. Haas, owner of Haas Construction in Greeley, PA sadly passed away on November 27, 2021 while driving his favorite car due to an unexpected heart attack.  Michael was born on June 23, 1952, in Port Jervis, NY to the late Catherine and Charles Haas of Shohola, PA, and has always lived and worked in the area.

Michael was a best friend to everyone who met him. His nick name was "HaHa" and he never met a stranger. He loved riding horses, loved his friends, family and his dogs!

Michael was a loving and amazing father to his only daughter; Nicole Elizabeth Haas who he raised together with her mother, Julia Foster-Haas.

He will be fondly remembered by all who met him and lovingly remembered by all those friends who became his family. 

Michael, you are forever in our thoughts and memories.

A memorial service will be hosted by Nicole and Julia at the Lackawacken house, on Friday, December 10, 2021, at 4:00pm. Pastor Herb will be there to say some words in Michael’s honor.
