Obituary of Elizabeth Rudinski
Pine Island, NY
Our Mom entered into eternal rest on Christmas Eve – December 24, 2021. The daughter of Albert and Anna Pacza, Elizabeth was born and raised in Franklin, NJ.
After graduating from Franklin High School, she was employed by the New Jersey Zinc Company General Store, as their bookkeeper. She remained employed for eight years.
After marrying our Dad, she moved to Pine Island in 1951 and lived there for the rest of her life. Mom was sincerely called “Aunt Betty” by both family and special friends.
Mom had many interests – she was a wonderful baker, cook, and gardener. A wonderful hostess – her favorite holiday was Christmas and having her family over for dinner. Over the years, many people enjoyed her special cakes and Hungarian Christmas Cookies. She was a great player of the game Rummikub and spent countless hours challenging her sisters.
The most important roles in her life were wife and mother.
She is survived by her daughter Carol Ann, son Vincent (Vinny) Jr. as well as several nieces and nephews.
Betty was predeceased by her parents, and husband Vincent (Bill) Sr., brother Steven Pacza; sisters Mary Berghofer, Helen Herman, Ethel Segarra, Irene Leek, Veronica Massey and her dear friend Florence Bogdanski.
We would like to thank the wonderful staff at Schervier Pavilion for the compassionate care that our Mom received, as well as to the Warwick Town Police and Pine Island Volunteer Ambulance Corp who responded to our needs.
In keeping with our Mom’s wishes, there will be no visitation and interment will be private.
Those who wish to honor our Mom and give a donation in her memory, please consider the Pulaski Fire Company or the Pine Island Volunteer Ambulance Corp.
