Richard A. Powell III, a resident of Middletown, NY passed away unexpectedly on April 23, 2023. He was 35. The son of Richard A. Powell Jr. of Chester, NY; and Laura V. Powell of Lexington, NC, Richard was born on February 20, 1988 in Nyack, NY.

Richard affectionally called Bubby by his family, went to James O’Neil High School in Highland Falls, NY. He moved to North Carolina for a short time before returning to New York. He will be greatly missed.

Richard (Bubby) is survived by his Parents, Richard A. Powell Jr. of NY, Laura V. Powell of NC, Sister Taylor Barnett of NY, Nephew William Schaeffer Jr. of NY, Maternal Grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Richard A. Powell Sr. of NY, a host of Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, and friends.

Richard (Bubby) was predeceased by his Stepmother Linda Powell, Paternal Grandparents James P. DeFord III, & Frankie N. DeFord, his Sister Chelsea Powell.
