Obituary of Joseph C. Rea

Mr. Joseph Rea, Owner/Operator of Rea-Ford-Lincoln in Monticello, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023. He was 84. The son of the late Remo and Edith (Palmeri) Rea, Joe was born on August 27, 1939 in the Bronx.
Joe was in the auto business for over 55 years and he loved every single minute of it. He was a member of the Elks Club in Middletown, N.Y. for many years. He was always willing to help someone in need regardless. He was a real people person. Joe loved to make people laugh always stopping to tell a joke or two. Joe loved his family and was devoted to his animals. He will be remembered for a very long time.
Survivors include his beloved wife Kathy, his sons, and grandchildren.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, November 21 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at Zygmunt-Murtie Funeral & Cremation Service, 388 Broadway, Monticello, NY 12701.
